You can change in the PDF Export Settings dialog to “Compress images in document to save bandwidth.” Save the document and watch its image quality improve. Why are there no images on the PDF page when I try to export, then export with PDF? You will still get that PDF with no images, or only the main image. It's common, particularly with non-standard fonts. Open a new PDF and you will see all the images in it. You can try changing the default PDF viewer to Image Zoom Viewer, like if your printer supports it. To try changing the default PDF viewer, you will need to download a version of PDF Designer. After you install it run it. In Photoshop click File→Print. Select PDF designer. Click File→Export Settings. On the Export Settings dialog click OK. Change the default PDF viewer to Image Zoom Viewer, like if your printer supports it, and you have installed PDF Designer. In Photoshop, click File→Print. In the File menu select PDF Designer. How can I solve the issue of the main image sometimes not displaying and sometimes showing up in the PDF? First, consider that the PDF viewer has been set to view images in the main window, not the browser. Now try running it, and you should see the main image in the PDF. Click the PDF view button on the toolbar to change the default PDF viewer to Image Zoom Viewer. How long does a .doc file take to save? Excel, OpenOffice, PowerPoint... Excel: 1.5 seconds OpenOffice: 1.8 seconds PowerPoint: 2.2 seconds When I create an calendar, .cal file and save, it takes about 2 seconds to save. Why? A .cal file looks like a spreadsheet of sorts: there's a header and footer text box, and a table of contents. In an calendar's sheet layout, the table of contents has to wait until the other cells are filled. If it did not, when creating you'll see a blank sheet when you save the file. Here is an example of a typical calendar (click images to enlarge): Figure 1. The typical calendar, calendar 3.x's layout on the left, 4.x's layout on the right A.m4a (i.e. mp3-file) looks a little different. It usually uses a simple .png font.
