Add Watermark in Microsoft Word · On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Background group, click Custom Watermark. Use one of the six watermark choices “Confidential” “High” “Medium” “Low” “Unknown” Create a watermark file or choose one from the dropdown Add Watermark in Microsoft Word · On the Page Layout tab, the Page Background group, click Custom Watermark. · In “Name” type “Watermark” or “P” for Preview. Click next to “Name” to add a new watermark name. · In “Type” type “Image” or “JPEG”. Click next to “Type” to add a new watermark type. · In “Width” type “1px” or “1.3 cm” or other acceptable unit. · In “Height” type “5px” or “6.9 cm” or other acceptable unit. · In “Max Width” type “5.5 cm” or “7.”9 cm” or other acceptable unit. · In “Max Height” type “3.5 cm” or “4.” 9" or “4. 7" or other acceptable unit. Under “Options” select a watermark option, choose from one of the six watermark choices, and then click next. Click next to “Image” to add a watermark thumbnail image, click next to “Width” size to enlarge, to choose an appropriate unit, and finally click Next to create a watermark with a maximum width of 1px and maximum height of 5px. Type a unique name for the new watermark. Click next to “Custom” to apply the watermark in a new document folder. Click the “Done” button to finish the process. Note: Click “Page Layout” tab to select the desired position of the watermark on the page. The Watermark icon must be displayed on the page. Watermarks may be applied to a page with a Watermark tab, an Embedded Document tab, or an On the Page tab. In Embedded/On the Page, there is a button to add a watermark to the page. In the Watermark section of Embedded Document, watermark must be embedded in the web page. The watermark is not available in the embedded page.
