Microsoft Excel's watermarks may be the first thing that some customers see when they open the program. However, the watermarks that you see may not be the ones you expect. When using Microsoft Excel 2024 and 2024 the watermarks used in a spreadsheet are stored in the Excel spreadsheet file (.xls) file. If you want to edit them, you must first open up the Excel document that you want to edit. So to edit a watermark from the file (e.g., Sheet1.xls), you will need to locate the watermark in the watermark database, which is located in the Workbook tab (Figure 1). Data sheet names represent column names in a spreadsheet. All data sheet has a unique name that is displayed in the Watermark field of the sheet view. This watermark data is part of the watermark that users see when they open the Excel spreadsheet. The watermark database data is stored in a workbook that is linked to an original spreadsheet so that you can edit the data in a database as it is displayed in the spreadsheet.
